Registration and Fees


All participants are welcome to register within the deadline of 15th of March 2017. The method of registration is electronic. Those who wish to attend the conference should complete the following Registration Form to obtain login and password credentials and further information about the method of payment. It’s important to stress that the fee paid for the Colloquium Spectroscopicum Internationale XL Edition will grant access also to all the events of the Euro-Mediterranean Symposium on Laser-Induced Breakdown Spectroscopy 2017 (EMSLIBS 2017)

The Conference fee for regular participants and students includes:

  • Attendance of all conference sessions of both CSI XL Edition and EMSLIBS 2017;

Insurance and Liability


The Conference Secretariat, Organising Committee and Organising Institutions are not able to take any responsibility, whatsoever, for injury or damage to persons or property during the meeting.


Visa Regulation


Everyone entering Italy must have a valid passport, or in the case of European Union Member States, a valid national identity card.
Visas are required for some countries. Delegates should check with their local representation. Please note that it can take up to 8 weeks to process a visa application and early application is recommended. The conference organizers, or its agents, cannot accept any responsibility for visa applications. Where a delegate is unable to attend because of failure to obtain a visa on time, the normal cancellation policy for registration fee will apply.
If you need to apply for a visa, please register for the conference, pay your registration fee in full and request a visa letter from . Please note the Italian Embassy will only accept a visa letter if it states that the delegate has registered for the congress and has paid their registration fee in full. The delegate will also need to request a letter from their respective hotel confirming the address where they will be staying during the conference days.
The Italian Embassy will only accept original letters from us so please allow enough time for us to post the visa letter to you. For further information click here.
According to the Colloquium Spectroscopicum Internationale Constitution, the Organising Committee shall take all steps to ensure that visas are indeed granted by providing Invitation Letter to facilitate Visa issuing on request. IUPAC endorsement implies that entry visas will be granted to all bona fide chemists, provided application is made not less than six months in advance. If a visa is not granted two months before the meeting, the Organizers and the IUPAC Secretariat should be notified by the applicant.
